Fleurs d'exception du pays de Grasse

The Fleurs d’Exception du Pays de Grasse is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to new growers settling in the region to work in the Production de Plantes à Parfum, Aromatiques et Médicinales (PPAM – production of perfume, aromatic, and medicinal plants) industry and organic farming. The FEPG association provides technical support and assistance in formalizing projects and business plans and acts as a liaison for the market’s raw-material demands.

It was this association that prepared and submitted the application for the Skills Related to Perfume in Pays de Grasse to be entered on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity: perfume-plant cultivation, knowledge and processing of natural raw materials, the art of perfume composition.
