The founding of the Astier Demarest company, established in Grasse in 1880, is largely tied to the history of perfumery. We specialize in sourcing natural and synthetic aromatic raw materials and we import all our products from their countries of origin to supply the fragrance, cosmetics, aromatherapy, and food-flavoring sectors. In 2015, we expanded our business by adding our Fruits department, which sells processed fruits, juices, purees, and natural fruit flavors. This department is managed from our office in Paris.
Expertise :
As a broker-dealer in the Pays de Grasse for several generations, what we found appealing about the Grasse Expertise project is the way it pools the strengths of all those in Grasse to help us collectively face the international pressure that the profession and the Grasse region have been experiencing over time. These days, we do more often speak about Grasse’s influence, but that has not always been the case and I think it’s good to give thought to protecting yourself for the future in those times when things are going well, too.
